About the BBFC Website

This website is designed and maintained by the BBFCs own Information Systems department.

The site is updated half hourly with the latest classification decisions. The customer Extranet is updated automatically from the BBFCs internal business systems at least every 15 minutes.

Please note that the site is designed to be viewed at resolutions of 1024 x 768 and above. We recommend visitors use a standards compliant browser and endeavour to ensure our site functions optimally in Internet Explorer 7 and above, Mozilla based browsers such as FireFox, Opera and webkit based browsers including Safari and Chrome. Internet Explorer 6 is supported to a baseline level but visitors may see some minor visual glitches.

Extensive use is made of JavaScript and some, older, browsers may be unable to display pages properly.
